GENERAL:

By ordering a commission from Dindin Makes Art, you agree to these Terms of Service.

These Terms are subject to change but do not apply retroactively. With regards to copyright, artist abides by the Philippine copyright laws.

ARTIST'S RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To communicate clearly and politely to the client the pricing, timeline, and important details of the project.

2. To create a product satisfactorily expressing the vision of the client according to the references provided, and make it visually appealing in the artist’s style;

3. To ask for client feedback stage by stage in order to stay within the vision; and

4. To deliver a complete product in a timely manner (or otherwise warn ahead of time if delivery will be late).

CLIENT'S RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To communicate clearly and politely to the artist their needs and expectations, especially with revisions in order to limit the revisions' cost;

2. To take into account the Artist’s skill, style, and time when setting expectations, as well as provide helpful, clear references and descriptions;

3. To respect the Artist’s boundaries when it comes to topics they wish not to illustrate (see “Limits” table below these Terms); and

4. To follow payment conditions without fail.

Failure of an Artist or Client responsibility as well as any breach of these Terms of Service may result in termination of the commission order. In the event that the Client has already given payment and the artwork has gone past the first draft stage, 50% of the given amount will be refunded if the Artist is the only transgressor. Otherwise, there will be no refunds.

COMMERCIAL USE GUIDELINES:

Products, by default, are for personal use. Client may print multiple copies if the intention is not for profit.

Commercial use will require either a commercial license fee or resale royalties, either of which must be negotiated with the Artist.

Removal of watermarks will require the equivalent of a commercial license fee.

UPON RECEIVING THE ARTWORK:

The client may post any draft or completed version of the artwork on social media, but must tag or credit the artist.

The client also must not use the artwork to promote or aide violence, bullying, or anything that may harm another person significantly.

DINDIN RABAJA is a freelance digital artist, student-journalist, and occasional songwriter from the Philippines.

She specializes in bringing fantastical concepts and designs to life, whether they are characters or layout. She first opened her commission shop in 2019 and has since created commissioned artworks on various media.

She is an active participant in art conventions in the Philippines, including Komiket and We Art by Puesto Manila.
